Dr. Richard Mackowsky
Optometrist
Dr. Richard H. Mackowsky completed his undergraduate studies in 1988 at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1992 from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, where he graduated in the top 10% of his class.
Dr. Richard Mackowsky is a member of: American Optometric Association, North Carolina Optometric Society, Eastern District Optometric Society Contact Lens Section – American Optometric Association, Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society, Prevent Blindness North Carolina.
Dr. Mackowsky moved to NC in 1995. He lives in Cary, NC with his wife, Dr. Nancy Mackowsky, daughter Emma, son Evan, and pet beagle Wilbur. Dr. Mackowsky enjoys golf, music, guitar, computers, traveling, outdoor activities, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Nancy Mackowsky
Optometrist
Dr. Nancy Mackowsky completed her undergraduate studies in physiology/neurobiology and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Connecticut. She received her Doctorate in Optometry degree in 1992 from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, graduating in the top 10% of her class.
Dr. Mackowsky is a fellow of The College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD), as well as the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association (NORA). She is also a member of: American Optometric Association, North Carolina Optometric Society, Prevent Blindness North Carolina.
Dr. Mackowsky resides in Cary with her husband, Dr. Richard Mackowsky, her two children, Emma, 23, and Evan, 17, and their beagle, Wilbur. Dr. Mackowsky enjoys playing golf, snow skiing and scuba diving.
